Abbey School
The Abbey School was opened in Faversham in September 1983. Our school stands in a rural area on the outskirts of Faversham, an historic market town near to the North Kent coast. The town has close links with agriculture, fruit farming and the brewing industry, as well as light industry, tourism and some boat building.

There are 960 students on roll, and we cater for boys and girls aged 11-19 who come from a wide variety of feeder schools from Faversham and the surrounding area. There is a staffing establishment of Headteacher, 64 teachers and 80 support staff. The Abbey school is categorised as a non-selective school, catering for students across a wide range of ability. Our school has a defined Autism Integration Unit, currently with 24 students.
